McFarlane Translations is run by Arleene McFarlane, a French and Spanish to English freelance translator based in France.
Arleene holds a BA in Spanish and an MA in Translation from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She also holds graduate degrees in Global Security from Cranfield University, and Linguistics and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, from the Université de Rennes II.
Since 2007, Arleene has been a volunteer translator for a housing association for which she regularly provides French and Spanish to English translations on international development and socio-economic issues.
She created McFarlane Translations in 2008, and is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and the Société Française des Traducteurs (SFT).
